Our Colombian Decaf is processed using the EA (Ethyl Acetate) method, a gentle decaffeination process using a naturally occurring compound found in fruits and also produced during sugar fermentation.

The green coffee is carefully steamed to open the bean structure before being washed with a solution of water and EA, which selectively removes the caffeine. The beans are then steamed again, dried and prepared for roasting.

The result is a decaf that retains the natural sweetness, body and character of the coffee — without the caffeine.
